Christmas to children comes but once a year
Yet! to them such a happy and wonderful event
To us adults it brings back so crystal clear
Many past Chritmas's and pleasant moments spent
At this time each child dreams in the night
On just how special this Christmas day will be
Snuggling up warm their blankets tucked in tight
Trying to guess , or sneaking in the closets to see
In the stores boys and girls sit on Santa's lap
Whispering in his ear on what to bring that night
